What we collect
- Candidates: name, contact details, location, trade or role, level, experience, qualifications, site cards, right-to-work confirmation, work preferences, expected rates, CV and copies of cards and certificates you upload.
- Clients: company details, contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, invoicing details and labour requirements.
- Everyone: anything you include in a message to us.
How we use it
- To find you suitable work, or find suitable workers for you.
- To check qualifications, cards and right to work before an assignment.
- To pay workers and invoice clients.
- To send job alerts or service updates where you've asked us to. You can opt out at any time.
Our lawful basis
We process information to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform our contracts, to meet legal obligations (including right-to-work checks and the Conduct Regulations 2003), and for our legitimate interests in running a recruitment business. We rely on consent for marketing messages.
Who we share it with
We share candidate details with clients only when putting you forward for work. We may also share information with payroll and accountancy providers, and with authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate and client records for up to two years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example, payroll and right-to-work records).
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@glrecruitmentgroup.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
