Set your delivery charges
Charge fairly for delivery based on distance.
- Open Business profile and scroll to Delivery charges.
- Minimum order for delivery: the basket value (ex VAT) needed to qualify. 0 means none.
- Base fee and extra per mile: the fee is base + per-mile × the distance from your branch to the customer’s postcode.
- Minimum delivery charge: the fee never goes below this.
- Free delivery over and maximum distance are optional.
- Save. Customers see the charge as soon as they enter their postcode, and it’s added to their payment (plus 20% VAT).
Tips
- You keep the whole delivery charge — commission is only taken on the goods.
- Free delivery over a threshold is a proven way to raise average order values.
